Blogs are replacing newspapers and magazines. Now it is very easy to write an article and distribute it to the world on a personal blog. You need a hosting, a domain and WordPress.

If you want to write news or informative articles to your blog you should use a Magazine theme. The look and feel are the same as reading a newspaper.

I’ve searched the web for the perfect wordpress theme for a magazine or newspaper like blog. The search was not easy, i went trough many themes and tested to find the perfect one.

I’m very happy with the result. Finally i found the best theme for a news website: Tribune theme.

This theme have an area in the top dedicated to one or more featured articles, like the main article on the first page of a newspaper.

In the middle of the page articles are sorted by category showing big headlines first so readers can scan them and read only what they want.  The summary of every article is shown on the homepage along with a small thumbnail.
